The consumer has a legal guarantee of conformity from the seller. Under EU and Dutch law every device must match its description and work as you may reasonably expect; if it does not, you are entitled to free repair or replacement, or to a price reduction or a refund. Dutch law sets no fixed end date for this right — how long it lasts depends on what you may reasonably expect from the device. For the first 12 months after delivery the seller must prove that the fault was not already present. The SecondFirst warranty is a commercial guarantee on top of this right and never limits it.
